Operation: Snake Pit

The Naga Raid · The Four Groups

Carl's four-pronged assault on naga territory, designed less to win the castle than to force the sultana to flee.

Story so far

To save Princess Donut and Katia from the Sepsis Whore problem, Carl must wipe out the Blood Sultanate line of succession, and that means kicking the hornet's nest. While Carl and Donut went up to the Production Trailer to meet Princess Vinata and the other warlords, four groups moved. Group one was Florin on the northern border with the former Operatic Collective territory, leading the 103rd Recon Legionnaires and 105th Scream Warriors in an all-out push — originally aimed at the Operatic castle, redirected after the slimes' sudden defeat to simply drive until it met resistance, even to the orc border. Group two was Tran on the southern naga border with the 102nd Bulwark Battalion, moving an hour later with a smaller, nimbler force that would feint toward the naga castle then angle west to Shanty Town, with Boomer and the 106th Bloody Leeches held in reserve against a counterattack.

Group three — Imani, Elle, Edgar, the tortoise dude, some Strippers and a metric fuckton of Sluggalos — would slip into naga territory in fast carts under Invisibility and True Concealment, following a route Edgar had already scouted and cleared of traps, then loose the sluggalos to swarm the castle and die stupidly while Elle, Imani and the strippers moved in behind them. Group four was Carl, Katia, Bautista, Li Na and the rest of the 107th White Dragons staged in Shanty Town. Carl assumed the nagas were ready with nasty surprises and did not care: whether the sluggalos won was irrelevant, because the point was to trigger Vinata's escape plan on his schedule. The whole design predated the discovery that Prepotente had gone ham on the naga forces, making the missing naga army a non-issue.
