Story so far
The AI identifies the only previous caster of War Crime as an Operatic warlord, who parked atop a circle of power and combined Fireball and Paralysis on roughly 200 mantid mercenaries during The Mantid Massacre.
Afterward the warlord supposedly had to go for an identity reset once his crawl was re-absorbed, and part of his essence eventually formed into the Warlord Hortense Leadership Unit — which The AI suggests explains Hortense's twitch. The AI adds that collective minds should really have learned by now how to peel off their own impurities, otherwise they are just wallowing in used bath water.
Role
The collective whose war criminal's essence still circulates through its leadership units.
