The Blood Sultanate

the naga faction · the Sultanate

The naga faction annihilated in the Temple of Khepri, leaving a single hidden survivor on the floor.

Story so far

After the massacre in the Temple of Khepri, Rishi is the sole remaining member of the original Blood Sultanate left alive on the floor — and only because he buried himself in the dirt outside the castle and waited for it all to be over. Every blood member of the court was bound into the Sepsis Whore quest; Rishi, married only to a distant cousin of the royal family, was not.

The faction's real-world backing is now unravelling. Princess Vinata's father, the naga king, insisted she compete in the Faction Wars to bring in tourist money and keep the Naga Shipyards running, while Vinata's private plan was to steal a fleet and leave the galaxy entirely. News of the naga intending to renege on their shipyard contracts broke just before the warlords' meeting, throwing their home system into chaos — and Rishi's brothers are meanwhile deposing the king in the Naga Uprising.

Role

The defeated naga faction whose collapse triggers a coup back home.

Relationships

Princess Vinata — Its leader, killed in the temple
Rishi — Its last surviving original member on the floor
