Katia Grim

Katia · Crawler Katia

Doppelganger crawler whose impersonation of Carl saved his life, now finding her own voice on camera.

Story so far

Katia's plan to disguise herself as Carl was what turned the Death Challenge! from an execution into a rescue, a fact Princess Donut made sure the whole galaxy heard on Odette's show. Teased about how well she wore Carl's face, Katia recovered on her own for the first time, firing back that next time she might impersonate Odette. Odette told her afterward that she is improving but still needs to learn to relax.

In the production trailer she discovered that her doppelganger abilities do not function in the secondary zone: she arrived in her plain human form with a heavy backpack straining her shoulders instead of the borrowed mass she normally carries, and stored the pack when Loita ordered it. She exchanged a grim look with Carl over what reeducation means for Zev, noted aloud that she is a terrible swimmer and was relieved the quadrant wheel skipped Sea, and followed the team out into the desert toward the Dirigible Gnome Wasteland Fortress.

Appearance

In the secondary zone she reverts to her true human self, a young Estonian woman of ordinary height blushing easily, weighed down by an oversized backpack.

Role

Team shapeshifter and artist, credited on air as the author of Carl's rescue.

Relationships

Carl — Teammate she impersonated to save from the Death Challenge.
