Loita (Admin)

Loita · the tiny admin · fish stick

Kua-tin admin wearing the Bloom's dahlia pin who replaces Zev and censors the team's interviews.

Story so far

Loita appeared standing on the snack table in the production trailer at the end of the fourth floor: a kua-tin much like Zev but taller and thinner, in a puddle of brackish water, breathing through a rebreather collar, with the dahlia-like sigil of the Bloom pinned to her chest. She announced that Zev had been sent to a reeducation retreat after a personal tragedy and that she would be taking over as the team's primary PR agent, attending every interview to make the crawl more equitable by limiting what crawlers learn.

She made Princess Donut store Mongo, banned refreshments on the grounds that some crawlers were getting illegal buffs from interview snacks, and lost a staring contest with Carl that ended with both promising to do their job. During the show she muted Odette twice and barged into the studio uninvited, triggering a screaming match about the Syndicate's rules on journalistic freedom that ended, bizarrely, in shared laughter and a promised lunch date. She cut the visit short after Odette nearly leaked something about Chris Andrews, and never reappeared before the team was transferred to the fifth floor.

Appearance

A small kua-tin mudskipper, taller and thinner than Zev, with a fish neck ringed by a rebreather that sprays water when she speaks, standing in a spreading puddle, a shiny dahlia pin on her breast.

Role

Borant-side admin and the team's new PR handler, installed to control the information they receive.

Zev — Predecessor she has replaced and sent to reeducation.
