Crab-bodied talk-show host who reveals she personally sponsored Hekla, and gets muted for saying too much.
Odette hosted the team's fourth-floor exit interview, teasing Katia Grim about wearing Carl's face, letting Princess Donut riff about the new snick, and explaining what a Death Challenge! really is: a pop-up gambling event where the system AI set Carl's general survival odds at fifty to one, a spread it adjusted too slowly, costing Borant Corporation an enormous amount and prompting an appeal. She admitted she made good credits on Carl and doubted she would ever live to collect.
When Carl needled her about sponsoring Hekla, she deflected on air by blaming her husband and the Crab Ranch, then told him privately after the cameras cut that it had been her, not her husband, and that she hoped one day to explain. She fought Loita twice over censorship, was muted mid-question about Eva Sigrid, and was cut off again while starting to say that she had not warned them about Chris Andrews. Her parting professional notes: Katia should relax, Donut was hilarious, keep Mongo out of the studio, and Carl's smoldering-anger persona plays beautifully. Her first piece of advice still governs Carl's thinking: don't trust anybody until you know their motivation.
A huge crab-bodied talk-show host who rises and falls on her lower half, with enormous breasts that slosh onto the desk, her face hidden inside a removable bug helmet.
Galaxy-famous interviewer, covert benefactor, and the team's best remaining source of outside information.
