An undocumented six-rack berth carved from a service tunnel shelters the entire Rocinante family beyond Laconian records and refugee control.
Saba's people created the smuggler's cabin inside a service tunnel whose station records are obsolete or missing. Six sleeping racks fit James Holden, Naomi Nagata, Bobbie Draper, Alex Kamal, Amos Burton, and Clarissa Mao tightly enough that Alex's snoring becomes part of the common air.
The cabin keeps the crew out of official quarters, refugee camps, and easy surveillance. It belongs to the roughly three percent of Medina Station that the underground believes Laconian security cannot yet see. Its safety is therefore temporary: every undocumented feature remains hidden only until the occupiers learn the station or trace the usage footprint.
A cramped six-rack berth cut into an obsolete service tunnel, with stale shared air, minimal utilities, close walls, and no current place in Medina's official records.
The cabin is the reunited crew's concealed home and a concrete example of the underground's dwindling local advantage.
