Mongo

the dinosaur-chicken

Zapped out to watch 'Uncle Carl's' stage debut, the winged velociraptor screeches encouragement from atop a table as the crowd scatters.

Story so far

Mongo — Princess Donut's bonded velociraptor and the family's joy — is summoned out of the garage (where Jamal and some slugs guard Hedy) by Donut so he won't miss Carl's singing debut at the Lollipop. The large dinosaur-chicken lands screeching in surprise, flapping his wings and scattering startled patrons, then is directed to stand on a table and watch, screeching excited encouragement as the concert begins. Pony-sized, feathered, and winged, he remains the crew's comic-relief heart even amid the tension of the escape plotting.
