Team Sparkles

team number two

The lone drunk unicorn Dwight, who wins Heat Six unconscious thanks to a two-Golden self-driving upgrade.

Story so far

Team Sparkles is still just Dwight, the grief-blackout unicorn left alone after the mandagot Lucienne's death — and he wins yet again. Turning up drunk and debuffed to the L'Engle Building start, Dwight floats down through the apartments literally unconscious, bobbing in his vine while a Dr. Metcalf-style hologram shrieks at him, because his team sprang for a self-driving upgrade costing two Golden upgrades that races for him while he's passed out. Carl tosses a sticky explosive that merely bounces off their shield.

Against all sense, the auto-piloting drunk unicorn takes first place in Heat Six, ahead of the Royal Court of Princess Donut (second) and Team Flamengo (third) — a second straight fluke victory that keeps the obnoxious, bereaved unicorn improbably alive and, to Osvaldo's and Donut's renewed fury, still in the running for the lethal final heat.

Appearance
