Navitron 1000

Dr. Metcalf · the GPS · the navigator

The food truck's navigator, revealed to call herself 'Dr. Metcalf' — a threatening, mean-girl AI who hates being touched.

Story so far

The Big Shot Chicken food truck's Navitron 1000 navigator has a name and a temper: she calls herself Dr. Metcalf — pointedly the same name as Miss Beatrice's expensive fake 'alternative' therapist (though Princess Donut confirmed it isn't really her). She snarls at Bucket Boy to get his 'scaly little hands off my buttons' or she'll 'drown you like a basket of ugly puppies,' and Donut warns she has 'big mean-girl narcissist energy' that must be humored — she'll show the map in hostile red until you say 'please,' then relent to blue. Fatalistic ('We're all going to die'), she nonetheless controls the truck's settings 'as she thinks best,' and the party has learned to trust — and flatter — her, since she dies with them if they lose.

Appearance

A dashboard navigation box labeled Navitron 1000, its flat-screen flashing red when hostile, blue when appeased.

Role

The food truck's temperamental AI navigator, a mean-girl presence the party must appease.
