Mayor of Shanty Town

Mayorship of Shanty Town

The transferable office Carl acquires from Ferdinand, marked by a jeweled charm that vanishes on transfer.

Story so far

The mayorship of Shanty Town is a formal, tradeable title. Its holder wears the Mayoral Charm, a small jeweled pendant on a gold chain - Ferdinand is wearing one when he appears at the Desperado Club. Carl explains the mechanics as he makes his offer: transferring the mayorship to the crawlers will make the jewel on the cat's necklace go away.

The system imposes one condition Ferdinand did not expect: the town cannot be transferred unless the receiving party pays money for it. Carl shrugs it off - they have gold - and the Trade Request between The Princess Posse and Team Retribution is accepted, handing Carl the office he wanted alongside the alliance's rename to The Good Guys.

Role

The title Carl buys, giving the Princess Posse formal authority over a settlement.
