Kiwi's Litter
Twin newborn Ursensus girls born to Kiwi and Mongo in the Larracos field hospital.
Story so far
After a long labor with Florin, Britney, Bucket Boy, Edgar, and Imani attending, Kiwi delivers two cubs, one after the other. Imani confirms both are girls. They register as Newborn Ursensus, Level 0, Legendary Creature — part raptor, part bear, part Scolopendra magic — and cannot be used as pets due to their intelligence.
Donut is instantly besotted, congratulating Mongo on becoming a daddy and demanding an immediate baby shower. Samantha asks to keep one, since Carl blew up her robot dog Buster. Elle calls them trash goblins and Florin says back home they would be drowning them in the bath, until Imani shuts both of them up. Carl privately considers them goddamn abominations but keeps it to himself.
Appearance
Two damp cubs covered in brown fur with four legs, wing stubs, beaked Mongo-like heads, and mismatched bulbous rotating eyes; the left one's eyes differ in size by nearly double.
Role
The first Ursensus ever born and the chapter's note of grotesque hope amid the war.
