Mongo

Donut's dinosaur, popular enough to survive the season as a necktie print and one of two toys still selling.

Story so far

Mongo does not appear in person in the epilogue, but he is everywhere in it as an image. Quasar arrives at Carl's exit-deal meeting wearing a tie with Mongo on it - the dinosaur constantly waving its little arms - specifically because he was hoping to be assigned Princess Donut as a client as well. Carl, exhausted and covered in ash, grunts with amusement at the sight.

Out at Squirties, the same popularity holds up commercially: of the entire Veriluxx Real Pet Companion line, only the Donut and Mongo figures still occasionally sell, while Zander pulls the rest off the shelves as unsellable. Whatever else the galaxy has lost interest in, it has not lost interest in Mongo.
