Story so far
Veriluxx produces the Real Pet Companion line of talking action figures based on the crawl's cast, sold across the galaxy and stocked at waystations like Squirties. By the end of the season the line has thinned to almost nothing: Zander reports that only the Donut and Mongo figures still occasionally sell, while the Gimli, Geraldo, Skyler and Spinach toys nobody ever cared about take up shelf space he needs back.
The figures are interactive - they wake at a touch, respond to their owner's mood and hold conversations - and the Uzi Jesus model carries an automatic disclaimer that Veriluxx Real Pet Companions does not endorse blasphemy. A Raul crab figure sits beside it, still announcing never to kowtow. The line is a quiet measure of who the audience actually cared about after the war.
