Story so far

Clay-Ton is among the group — with Chris and Very Sullen — gathered around The Sledge in the ruins of Larracos, while Princess Donut perches on the rock monster's shoulder.

Edgar the tortoise shakes his head there: he can't tattoo a rock, let alone extract anything from him, not with his tools. He allows that a Changeling might manage it but doubts it, since the missile spell isn't one Cretins normally have. Rosetta answers simply that they'll have to manage.
