Paint the Target

painting

Carl's targeting skill, used to mark the newly-visible enemy mind mages for missile fire.

Story so far

The instant Mind Balance reaches level 16, Carl can see the ones casting mind magic — dozens of Mind Mages spread through the army in front of him. He starts painting them one by one and sends out orders for everyone to focus on them first, telling Bomo to reroute any incoming fire onto those targets.

Bomo reports these are the last missiles; Carl tells him to do it and thanks him and Donut's crew for their work. A string of explosions walks across the line of Madness Dune Buggies, shields glow and shatter, and the Cheese Cutters erase more than half the mages Carl had marked. It isn't enough, but the attacks against him cease.

Appearance

Enemy casters visibly marked in the interface for coordinated fire.

Role

The mechanism by which Carl converts his new mind-mage vision into an artillery strike.
