Donut's Dog Tattoo

The Dog Tattoo

A simple animated line-art dog inked on Donut's hip, the visible form of her stolen War Crime spell.

Story so far

Edgar applies the tattoo to Donut, who refuses to look at it and demands it be covered before Mongo gets confused, insisting they'll get it lasered off on the next floor. Only when Milk's Words of Power letters shift across the skin does the design become visible: a simple, rather adorable line-art dog — which then lifts its leg and starts licking itself.

Edgar judges the art not sentient, imbued with nothing beyond the spell itself, and guesses that leg-lifting is the whole of its repertoire. Mongo growls at it; the dog holds its pose regardless. Beneath the glowing calligraphy, the tattoo is the physical anchor of War Crime and its link to Wepwawet.

Appearance
