character

Loita (Admin)

Loita · the Bloom rep · the mudskipper

The Bloom-party censor who seizes the party's account from Zev — muting Odette mid-sentence and clamping down on every scrap of intel.

Story so far

Loita takes full control in the epilogue. A kua-tin who resembles Zev but taller and thinner, she wears no dive-suit — just a rebreather and a shiny dahlia-like Bloom pin Carl resolves to memorize — and stands in a puddle of brackish water. As primary PR agent she strips the party's advantages: banning refreshments (citing 'illegal buffs'), forbidding Carl's book on set, and tightening 'controls on the information crawlers are fed' to make the crawl 'more equitable.' She reveals Zev has been sent to a 'reeducation retreat' after a homeworld tragedy, demoted to social-media manager.

Throughout the show she repeatedly mutes Odette mid-interview — killing questions about Eva and Chris — and barges uninvited into the studio, sparking screaming matches with the host that curdle into weird faux-friendly laughter. Cold, officious, and immovable, she meets Carl's stare with 'I will make sure it's done right this time.'

Appearance

A kua-tin like Zev but taller and thinner, wearing only a rebreather at her fish-neck (no dive-suit), standing in brackish water, a shiny dahlia-shaped Bloom pin on her breast; sprays water when she speaks.

Role

The Bloom censor who supplants Zev, muzzling Odette and cutting off the party's intel lifeline.

Relationships

Zev — The agent she displaces and sends to 'reeducation,' demoted beneath her.
Odette — The host she repeatedly mutes and feuds with over censorship.
Carl — Whom she coldly warns she'll do her job 'right this time.'
the-bloomBk 1 — The ultranationalist kua-tin party whose dahlia pin she wears.
