Hekla's cruel enforcer, who taunts Katia into the Rush that kills Hekla — and survives, now leaderless and hostile.
On the Vermillion train, Eva Sigrid's viciousness detonates the whole scheme. When Hekla's phased-bolt betrayal of Katia Grim is exposed, Eva — already down a hand to Hekla's stray shot — lunges at Carl and Princess Donut and demands to finish Katia. Reined in by Hekla, she instead flays Katia verbally, mockingly mimicking her voice about her ex Fannar, her failed adoption, and being "left behind on the third floor," sneering that this is "why nobody likes you." The cruelty backfires catastrophically: Katia's enraged Rush, aimed at Eva, misses and kills Hekla instead.
Eva survives the disaster — now a leaderless, thirteen-skull killer stripped of her psychiatrist-leader and one hand, and an open enemy of Carl's party.
A small (five-foot) green, opalescent cobra-headed woman on scaled legs, now with only three of her four hands (one lost to Hekla's shot), twin crossed sabers, glossy green leather armor; one large and three small player-killer skulls above her.
Hekla's surviving enforcer, whose cruelty ends her leader and who becomes a lingering hostile threat.
