Donut steals the interview, mourns her unsellable hats and her friend Zev, then spins the party into the Air Quadrant against the gnomes.
In the epilogue Princess Donut is peak Donut: she carries the Odette interview with ribald one-liners (lamenting how long it's been since she 'got laid,' demanding to see the 'Naughty Little Piggie' snick she starred in), props up a shy Katia Grim, and rages at the Bloom censor Loita for ousting her friend Zev and banning the snacks. She frets over her hoard of souvenir hats (now worthless, though Carl spares her the news, promising they'll sell as collectibles next floor) and worries aloud about what 'reeducation' means for Zev, whom she loves despite her being 'a bad guy' ('We're going to write a tv show together'). As team leader she spins both floor-five wheels — landing the Air Quadrant (to Katia's swimming relief) and the Dirigible Gnomes' Wasteland Fortress — and marches the team out into the desert: 'Let's go kill some gnomes.'
A small fluffy tortoiseshell Persian show cat with a white crystal tiara and oversized Prism laser goggles, imperious and theatrical.
Deuteragonist; the party's performer, heart, and team leader, spinning them onto the next floor.
