Medium Dryad Settlement

The dryad village · The town

A bamboo-walled treehouse town on the sixth floor where Carl's party emerges, guarded by Funeral Bells.

Story so far

Carl arrives on The Selva just outside the Medium Dryad Settlement, a good-sized town ringed by a ten-foot bamboo wall with a gate held by two Funeral Bells guards. Inside, it buzzes with activity: multiple elves and tree-like creatures walking about, multi-story shops and pubs, many attached to or built into trees, small furry monkey creatures scuttling through the branches. Carl calls it a German-style village mixed with a bunch of treehouses, and thinks it would be a perfect place if it were not stuck in this hell hole. The golden-tipped spire of a Club Vanquisher rises against the back wall.

The town is also the site of the party's first fight on the floor, when Night Weasels belonging to Hunter Zabit drop both gate guards and paralyze Carl. A horn sounds and shouting spreads across the town before the guards respond with poison cloud attacks. Chris carries Carl into a pub and through into the party's personal space.
