Story so far

Mickey, the black-market Violet Carver who sculpted the Red Darrow into a Gold years ago, is brought back to Tinos from his project in Varos at Darrow's request. Over weeks in his ward he rebuilds Darrow's atrophied body and mends Victra's severed spine, restoring her legs—work Dancer feared too dangerous in Darrow's ruined state. It was also Mickey who Carved Sevro's eyes to Martian red (from Darrow's own preserved eyes), gave Ragnar new teeth, and taught the giant to read.

To the awed Obsidian he is simply 'the wizard.' His skill is the Rising's quiet engine, turning broken bodies back into fighters.
