character

Sevro

Sevro au Barca · Goblin · Ares · the Goblin King

Sevro faked his own death to breach the bunker—revived from a haemanthus coma, he explodes into the fight and beheads the mighty Aja.

Story so far

Sevro's death was the ruse's masterstroke: the flask he drank from before freeing Cassius held Narol's haemanthus oil, dropping him into a deathlike coma, and Cassius 'executed' him with a Carved vest and lab blood so his corpse would carry them past every scan into Octavia's bunker. When the fight against Aja turns hopeless, Darrow plunges Holiday's snakebite serum into his heart and he bursts awake—'Fuuuuuuuck'—manic, horrified at Darrow's missing hand, and roaring to join the fray. He tramples the pinned Jackal, hurls himself at Aja with a pulseFist, and draws her first blood, then leads the wolfpack that bleeds the greatest Olympic Knight of the age: 'That one's for Quinn.

This one's for Ragnar. This one's for Mars.' He drives both razors into her chest, kisses her nose—'Omnis vir lupus'—and takes her head, howling atop her corpse. Alive, redeemed, and lethal, he then sits on the Jackal's chest to secure him as the bunker falls quiet over Octavia's death.

Appearance

Small and wiry, hatchet face and singed Mohawk, rust-red eyes wild and bloodshot from the reviving drug; chest bare where the fake execution vest was cut away, spattered with lab blood.

Role

Leader of the Sons resurrected; the Goblin who faked his death to breach the bunker and slays the fearsome Aja.

Relationships

Darrow — His brother, who wakes him from the faked-death coma with a syringe to the heart at the fight's darkest turn.
Aja au Grimmus — The Fury he bleeds and beheads, avenging Quinn, Ragnar, and Mars.
Cassius au Bellona — The man who 'killed' him for the ruse, now his brother-in-arms in the bunker.
The Jackal — The enemy he tramples and pins, securing him as the Sovereign dies.
