Sky-castle-dwelling gnomes of the desert wasteland, drawn as the team's fifth-floor opponents.
The Dirigible Gnomes were one of four opponents on the second selection wheel, alongside the Razor Fox Kite City, the Nightgaunt Precipice and the Great Dirt Island of the Wind Sirens. Princess Donut's spin landed dead center on them, and the system announced that to pass the level the team must storm their castle in the sky, the Dirigible Gnome Wasteland Fortress.
Nothing else about them is revealed before the book ends. What is known is inferred from their name and their setting: airships or balloons over a burning desert, and a fortified aerial keep that will have to be taken by force. Donut, unfazed, announced the sand looked like a giant litterbox and called the team out to go gnome hunting. Odette's parting hint that she is glad the team has all those crafting tables suggests the siege will be won with engineering as much as with combat.
The fifth-floor enemy faction the team is contractually required to besiege.
