A veteran organizer of Belt schools and clinics, Micah comes to Tycho carrying the fresh grief of his brother's murder by Marco.
Micah al-Dujaili is an OPA organizer with a red-veined drunkard's nose who has spent much of his life coordinating free schools and medical clinics across the Belt. He is one of the leaders Fred Johnson hoped to gather against the Free Navy, and comes to Tycho Station after Fred's death.
His brother Carl commanded the Witch of Endor, which Marco's forces destroyed for joining Michio Pa's breakaway fleet. Pa's recorded endorsement moves Micah to tears, but he does not let grief make him passive. When Ostman reduces the summit to jokes about women, he answers that Marco is bad at holding territory as well, showing that his personal loss has sharpened rather than erased his opposition to Marco.
An older Belter man with a heavy, red-veined nose and an emotionally open face; he wears practical civilian clothes and struggles briefly to compose himself during the summit.
Micah brings a civic, humanitarian Belt tradition to the anti-Marco coalition, with a personal reason not to forgive Free Navy terror.
