Story so far

The outworlder uppers are alien stimulant drugs Samantha scavenged from the snake-lawyer's garbage pile. Taken before a race, they let the user 'taste time' — perceiving the space between individual seconds — which is how Samantha dominates the safe room's Mario Kart tournaments. The stripper driver Gluteus Maxx downs two of them before Heat Three, leaving his eyes red and his behavior dangerously manic as he raves that the interval between seconds 'tastes like cotton candy mixed with the sweat dripping off the tits of a randy high elf priestess.' Their reckless high forces Carl to consider having Princess Donut risk the dangerous Laundry Day spell to free him from his suit so he can drive instead.
