The dungeon's casino-nightclub, dramatically remodeled into a smoky jazz-age den — home to the Wheel of Fortune and its 'Nothing' escape portal.
The Desperado Club is the dungeon's casino and nightclub, entered past the Hairpin bar (and its doorkeeper Clarabelle), and by the tenth floor it has been strangely remodeled. The old EDM throb is gone, replaced by frenetic 1920s jazz from a mixed-race house band (a Naga drummer, the cretin bassist Clay-Ton, a cowboy-hatted succubus singer); the once-young, attractive NPC clientele are now monstrous races in period gear, and orc, hobgoblin, and troll guards have replaced the old cretins and gnolls. The gambling floor is gilded and high-end, gold leaf and chandeliers everywhere, with incongruous murals — most notably a family of Bopcas cowering before something in the sky.
Its centerpiece for the crew is the Wheel of Fortune, now run by the gouging level-120 croupier Mitch Fiorelli: the wheel still bears a two-space 'Nothing' wedge, now in suspicious quotes, that opens a fifteen-second black portal to a stasis holding-chamber — the linchpin of Carl's plan to smuggle friends out of the dungeon. Chris and Britney escape through it here before Mitch springs a lethal trap, animating the furniture to attack Donut.
A gilded, smoke-filled 1920s-style casino-nightclub — jazz band, chandeliers, gold-leaf tables, murals, and a monstrous costumed clientele.
