Story so far

Gustavo died during the chaos outside the Nest Tower, but not before badly injuring Mongo, tearing feathers from the dinosaur's neck and leaving him blood-soaked at the collar even after healing. Rend saved Mongo from him, an act Donut promised never to forget.

His death mattered far beyond the fight. Zev told Carl the liaisons wanted to interview Lucia Mar immediately "now the dog is dead," and that production had learned something new the moment he died — enough to overturn their assumption that Lucia's glitch would self-correct on her death and release the children held in the kinder facility. Carl, arguing for Lucia's protection, noted she had just lost her bodyguard.

Appearance

A monstrous dog large and vicious enough to maul Mongo, leaving gore on the dinosaur's neck that congealed and dripped on the tower floor.
