Story so far
Immediately after the blocked assassination attempt, Zev contacts Carl to confirm the ejection request did not come from her production team. She reports that several warships in orbit have begun firing on other ships — not pot shots but full missile barrages and maser blasts — and that production has received notice from the Syndicate Council ordering them to initiate the Headquarters self-destruct, immediately followed by a message from the The Valtay showrunners telling them not to comply.
She says they are obviously not complying, admits she isn't sure whether the Mercenaries will side with them or the Syndicate, and urges Carl to say whatever he was about to say, quickly, and get it out there — prompting him to announce that Epitome Tagg is a cyborg on the open feed.
