Ping

Carl's detection spell that reveals white-tagged NPCs, mercenaries, off-worlders, and pets on his map.

Story so far

Carl cast Ping as the party approached The Reaver Castle. It only shows white-tagged NPCs, mercenaries, and off-worlders — neither robots nor Louis register on it — so the only hit inside the castle was Samantha, rolling their way from the middle of the structure.

The drake overhead did appear, however, blazing orange on his map as a pet: Calliope, Cybernetic Bleached Drake, Level 130, pet of Warlord Fang. The orange dot is how the party learned the drake was a cyborg and belonged to the hiding Reaver warlord.

Role

Carl's area detection tool, which identified Calliope as Fang's pet.

Relationships

Carl — Caster.

Calliope — Revealed as an orange pet dot by the ping.
