Story so far
Heading for the stairwell, Louis paused to look up into the burning sky and said he really wished he could have kept the Party Planner. Carl reminded him of his own earlier point — that airships wouldn't be allowed on the next floor anyway — and added that there was another plane now, because Florin had stolen one. Louis's response was immediate: "Oh, hell yeah."
Samantha declared she liked upgrades, floated up and started blowing into his gills, which he told her felt really, really weird before thanking her for letting him use her body — to which she answered that now she got to use his, a fair trade. Donut told Samantha to be gentle with him because he had just gotten a divorce; Samantha immediately gasped that Louis was back on the market and started making growling noises at him.
