Story so far
The plan required Samantha to open the door into the Temple of Khepri, bought with a promise she could enter her own mother Theia's temple. The intended execution had Carl berserking the Mantaur Guards to fight the rams while the crew stormed inside, then triggering Li Na's Profane Iron to kill every naga under cover of chaos. Neither piece was needed: Li Na's auras worked so well the alarm trap was unnecessary, and Carl decided to blow himself up instead.
The blast kills Princess Vinata, collapses the Blood Sultanate, cracks the portal to the temples and vaporizes the desk. It also strands Katia Grim's group in the lobby when the Dagda temple door seals, sets gods loose in the halls, and brings Basilica Guards up from below. The escape becomes its own battle — Operation Head Banger, the mantaur slaughter, and a scramble to the hidden guild corridor where Carl finds Milk.
