Voluntary Defeat

Voluntary Withdrawal

Rule awarding a self-eliminated team's assets to its nearest ally and accelerating the war timeline.

Story so far

Following Commander Stockade's suicide, the system rules the The Democratic Sortion defeated and specifies that, because the defeat was voluntary, the closest ally castle or warlord to their headquarters will receive all their assets. In practice that means every holding of the The Lemig Sortion passes to The Madness — enriching Architect Houston, the man who let Stockade take the fall.

The same classification engages Acceleration Scenario Two under ceasefire rule three, subsection six, shortening The Ceasefire by 23.33 hours. One warlord's grief thus arms his co-conspirator and starts the Faction Wars nearly a day early.

Role

The rule that redistributed the Lemig assets and accelerated the ceasefire's end.

Relationships

The Democratic Sortion — The first team to fall under it.
The Madness — Nearest ally, awarded all the assets.
Acceleration Scenario Two — Triggered alongside the asset transfer.
