Story so far

Herman the Fleet is tagged as an Elite in the Princess Posse's service, level 70, a legionnaire, and the only such dot Carl can see inside Fupa besides the hidden adjutant. What looks like a heavily enchanted elite doing paperwork is in fact one fighting a compulsion planted by his corporate owners.

Baroness Victory frames the incident in exactly these terms: an outside company exerting undue influence on one of their own elites to affect Faction Wars. The implication is chilling for the whole faction — any elite with an off-dungeon owner may be a lever for the enemy, which is why Florin wants a full internal sweep immediately.
