The Ballroom
Castle hall where Carl's translucent avatar appeared amid dozens of Lemig goblins, leaving him drenched in blood.
Story so far
The ballroom is where Stockade's plot came to a head. Adjudication footage shows the caterpillar standing in the middle of it surrounded by dozens of The Lemig Sortion goblins, compound eyes flashing like a disco ball while he speaks with an outside informant. It is the destination Carl was teleported to, arriving as a translucent, flickering avatar that existed simultaneously here and back on his infirmary cot.
Whatever happened next left Carl dripping with blood "like I'd been bobbing for apples in a vat of the stuff" and left Luke dead. Architect Houston was already in the castle but not in the ballroom when it happened. The Field Ruling Adjudication convenes immediately afterward in Queen Imogen's Private Kitchen, off to the ballroom's side.
Appearance
A grand castle hall large enough to hold dozens of goblins and a full warlord contingent, adjoined by the queen's private kitchen.
Role
Site of the botched teleport and the slaughter that triggers the field ruling.
