character

Ghazi

Mad Dune Mage

Dead Mad Dune Mage of the sand castle, tricked by Psamathe while trying to animate his sex doll.

Story so far

Carl recapped Ghazi's story when Samantha's vendetta resurfaced. Ghazi was the now-dead "Mad Dune Mage" from the sand castle during the bubble floor, holder of the last piece of the Gate of the Feral Gods. He tried to use the gate to animate his sex doll, not realizing that Psamathe had possessed the doll's body and was manipulating him the whole time in an effort to reclaim a body of her own — she had been reduced to a head after Mongo knocked her over while she was made of glass.

Samantha had tricked Ghazi into "marrying" her sand ooze daughter, something Carl still doesn't fully understand, before everything fell apart. Once Ghazi realized he'd been deceived he wrote to the College of Larracos for help, and those letters — which the crawlers recovered — exposed that his ex-girlfriend Tish still worked there and that he had left her for the doll. Donut holds Ghazi entirely responsible for the whole affair.
