Rolling Battle Formation Ball

The Ball

The enormous sphere of packed combatants dropped into the Larracos funnel, whose breaking is the trigger for War Crime.

Story so far

Harpocrates hurls the ball over the tower's edge into the hole of Larracos, where it plummets down the funnel and lodges roughly three-quarters of the way down — close enough that Donut frets about it touching the acidified water. Freed of the god's protection, it is immediately targeted by every reactivated defensive tower, and its health bar begins falling at once, then rockets into the red.

Everyone inside is packed together — crawlers, The Reavers and The Dream forces, and gods alike — and Donut can hear them all screaming, which torments her. The plan requires her to cast War Crime the instant the ball breaks, while the enemy is still mixed together and before Eris can act. When Li Na reports the ball broken, the cast can no longer be delayed, trap net or not.

Appearance

A giant sphere with a health bar floating above it, wedged partway down a vast funnel and under constant tower fire.
