Well-liked crawler who put down a killer nun, got marked by a god, and is loved by a changeling warlord.
Louis is one of the crawlers the audience actually likes — Tempest says so unprompted, and immediately adds that she'd be sad if something terrible happened to him on the ninth floor.
On the eighth floor he was the one who put down Sister Ines after the cat-girl nun went insane and started working with the Sheol demon Amayon. Killing her cost him: he came out of it marked for death by Ysalte, a god sponsored by the Nebulars. His luck held, in the ugliest possible way — Ysalte was killed by Paz, who had by then been turned into a card, and the mark presumably died with her.
His other complication is Juice Box, the changeling who ran the eighth floor's killing spree and is now a warlord. She is in love with him, in part because of a relationship in which she morphed into historical figures from Earth. Quasar cites this as proof of his first rule: be careful who you're nice to, because they might never leave.
Not described in the recap; known as a human crawler well enough liked by the viewing public to be named without explanation.
The crawler who killed Sister Ines, briefly a god's marked target, and the object of a warlord's dangerous devotion.
