character

Sister Ines

the nun · the nun lady

Cat-girl nun and serial killer who went mad, sided with a demon, and had to be put down.

Story so far

Sister Ines was a nun who was, in Quasar's words, "actually like a serial killer lady" — and, delightfully for the retelling, a cat girl, which is exactly why Princess Donut could not stand her.

On the eighth floor she went insane, though Quasar notes there is "some question on how it happened" — the mechanism was never satisfactorily explained even to the viewing public. By the end she was working with Amayon, the Sheol demon who arrived in the world during a demon eviction event, and it fell to Louis to put her down. Killing her had consequences that outlived her: Louis was marked for death by the god Ysalte, sponsored by the Nebulars, for the deed.

Appearance

A cat-girl nun — feline features on a woman in religious habit, a combination the recap treats as inherently funny.

Role

The eighth floor's mad nun, whose death by Louis's hand triggered a god's death-mark on him.

Relationships

Louis — The crawler who killed her, and paid for it with a god's mark.
Amayon — The Sheol demon she ended up working with as her madness took hold.
Princess Donut — Loathed her on sight, a feud the audience found hilarious.
