character

Eileithyia

the goddess Eileithyia

Goddess sponsored by a rich CEO, whose flower offers Katia three doors out of the ninth floor.

Story so far

Eileithyia is the goddess at the centre of Katia Grim's only escape plan. Huanxin Jinx, a rich CEO, sponsors her, and the deal on the table is that Katia goes to the twelfth floor as a celestial attendant. The mechanism is the Orchid of Eileithyia's Grace: Katia has to eat the flower, which will give her three choices, one of which is the attendant's post.

What makes it matter beyond Katia is the tiara. Because she and Princess Donut both wore Crown of the Sepsis Whore, only one of them can leave the ninth floor — so if Eileithyia's flower works as advertised, Donut goes free. Quasar relays all of this accurately and then admits he is "not too familiar with this whole part", which is not reassuring.

Appearance

Undescribed; known only through her sponsor, her flower, and the twelfth-floor service she offers.

Role

The goddess whose Orchid is Katia's route off the ninth floor and therefore Donut's route as well.

Relationships

Katia Grim — Offers her a twelfth-floor attendant's post via the Orchid, one of three choices the flower presents.
Huanxin Jinx — Her sponsor, the rich CEO who brokered the arrangement.
Orchid of Eileithyia's Grace — Her flower, the object Katia must consume to trigger the choice.
