Eileithyia is a benevolent-seeming but ruthless sponsored goddess who grants protective boons and secretly recruits Carl into a twelfth-floor Celestial Throne plan.
Eileithyia manifests over Ogun's shattered tiles in her sponsor's true alien form. She comforts Yemaya, promises to report Ogun's temple violation, and touches Carl and Donut with Rapid Healing.
Known for easing childbirth, infertility grief, and female pain, she is not publicly considered throne-seeking. Her sponsor is Huanxin Jinx of the Grixist Swarm and Icon Industries.
Eileithyia grants a floor boon with possession protection, healing speed, and Constitution. She then issues a trivial public quest to kill five spiders daily.
Her private messages reveal the quest as cover. She wants Carl to accept Odette as adjutant and promises votes to remove ninth-floor protections, solve the Sepsis Crown, keep Carl, Katia, and Donut alive through floor twelve, and use them to claim the Celestial Throne.
She demands total secrecy and threatens to destroy everyone Carl loves if he betrays the bargain.
A five-foot blue-and-black hairy alien with six V-arranged eyes, four three-fingered arms, long neck, pregnant belly, red toga, and laurel.
Eileithyia is a covert divine patron, Faction Wars manipulator, and active Celestial Throne claimant concealed behind compassion.
