Story so far
The demon eviction event is how Amayon got into the world. Quasar mentions it in passing, as the sort of thing that simply happens on a floor: a Sheol demon "came to the world during a demon eviction event", and shortly afterwards was working with the deranged Sister Ines.
The crawl runs on scheduled world events like this one, and their consequences outlast them — the eviction's arrival ended with a nun dead, Louis marked by a god, and a chain of deaths that reached as high as Ysalte.
