location
Sheol
The demonic realm from which Amayon and his kind are evicted into the crawl.
Story so far
Sheol is named only as an origin: Amayon is "the Sheol demon", a being who came to the world during a Demon Eviction Event. Its demons are potent enough that one of them turning up on a floor is a plot in itself, and the surrounding events — Sister Ines's madness, her death at Louis's hands, the god Ysalte's death-mark — all trace back to that arrival.
Appearance
Unseen and undescribed; a realm known to the crawl's audience by reputation and by what comes out of it.
Role
The demonic realm supplying the crawl with demon-prince arrivals during eviction events.
Relationships
Amayon — Its most prominent representative in the eighth floor's events.
Demon Eviction Event — The mechanism by which Sheol's residents enter the dungeon.
