A post on the twelfth floor serving a goddess — and Katia's one route out of the ninth.
Being a celestial attendant means going to the twelfth floor to serve a deity, and for Katia Grim it is not a promotion but an exit. Her deal with the rich CEO Huanxin Jinx, who sponsors the goddess Eileithyia, is that she will eat the Orchid of Eileithyia's Grace and take the attendant's post from among the three choices the flower presents.
Quasar lays out the chain without sentiment: Katia takes the post, and only then can Princess Donut leave — because both of them put on Crown of the Sepsis Whore, and only one may go. The attendant's role is described in the flattest possible terms, a job on a floor most crawlers never see, and nobody in the conversation asks what it actually costs the person who takes it.
Not described; a station on the twelfth floor rather than a thing with a form.
The twelfth-floor divine post offered to Katia as the mechanism for freeing Donut from the Crown's curse.
