Larracos College of Magecraft

the Council · the college · the Tome of Scholars

The twelve-scholar magical council of Larracos that diagnosed Ghazi's disaster and ordered him to banish the necropolis into the void.

Story so far

The Larracos College of Magecraft is the scholarly magical council to which Ghazi belonged. Its letter — signed by twelve scholars — reveals it identified the entity he loosed as the banished lesser deity Psamathe (the only one with an ooze familiar), deduced she duped him by posing as Yarilo and now possesses the ghost Quetzalcoatlus, and issued a grim directive: Ghazi must use the Winding Box to banish himself and the entire Necropolis of Anser into The Nothing before Psamathe can gain flesh and be fully resurrected. For his failure, his name was struck from the college's 'Tome of Scholars.' The college needed the Gate of the Feral Gods artifact for some larger purpose — a fight against Scolopendra — which Ghazi's obsession has now cost them.

Carl briefly bluffs Ghazi by claiming to be 'from the college.'
