Yarilo

the banished god of Lust

The banished god of Lust the mage meant to summon — impersonated by Psamathe, who exploited his name to deceive Ghazi.

Story so far

Yarilo is a banished god of Lust, one of the mad deities trapped in The Nothing. Ghazi sought to free him in exchange for a single boon: to make the fictional Lika fall genuinely in love with him. But the entity that answered was not Yarilo — the lesser deity Psamathe impersonated him (as banished things, all crazy and desperate to escape, are wont to do), performing a sham 'marriage' and 'making Lika real' as a sand ooze rather than restoring the true woman.

Yarilo himself never emerges; his name is merely the lure Psamathe used, a reminder that anything summoned from the Nothing may be someone else entirely.

Appearance

Never seen; a banished god of Lust known only by name and reputation.
