A half-naiad stage-play heroine embodied in a soul-trapped companion doll, whose whispered pleas lured the mage into dooming his castle.
Lika is a half-naiad trobairitz — a celibate bard-cleric — and the fictional heroine of a popular Larracos stage-play series ('Troubadour's Bounty'), loosely based on a minor deity and played by dozens of thespians over the years. Ghazi became obsessed with her, embodied her in a companion sex-doll he insists holds a real trapped soul, and claims she whispered to him to come here and free her. His botched summoning of Yarilo/Psamathe crystallized the whole castle mid-motion — freezing 'Lika' in her cleaning-pod fountain, which Carl's party mistook for a glass statue of a robed woman in a geyser (its plaque reading Ghazi's devotion: 'Lika, my love… I will burn and bury and destroy any who try to stop our love').
Mongo shattered the statue; Carl pocketed her glass head ('It's sticky'). The Sand Ooze now wears her form when the storm is calm, a mockery of the woman Ghazi threw everything away to possess.
A robed half-naiad woman — large eyes, small nose, gills, sharp teeth, arms outstretched mid-song in a wide stance; embodied as a companion doll and, when crystallized, a clear-glass fountain statue.
The fictional-turned-embodied object of Ghazi's obsession — a soul-trapped doll whose pleas doomed the castle.
