Now a palm-sized parasitic Scree worm burrowed in Chris's brain, she stalks Carl in full sand-camouflage, throwing her voice and creeping toward the winding box to sabotage it — coerced, she reveals, by a caprid cleric 'liaison' threatening to have her other daughter turned into a monster. She confesses she's no longer angry, only protecting family, before the system strips her speech.
When Chris erupts to hurl the (decoy) box, Carl drinks a Phase Lava Rock potion, reaches into Chris's head, and pulls her out; she burrows into Carl's arm and neck until his double-healing potion blasts her free, Poisoned — and Mongo snatches and devours her, ending the saga of Frank Q and Maggie My. Her looted inventory (full of hats) goes to Chris.
