Emberus

God of Sun and Ash · the blind fire-god

Grateful for his puppy's return, Emberus grants Carl a boon and two binding quests: solve his son Geyrun's murder and kill his twin Hellik.

Story so far

With Orthrus restored, Emberus adopts Carl as an Acolyte and speaks to him directly through golden god-messages — surprisingly measured for a deity the System calls unhinged. He grants a boon (+25% constitution for 30 hours) and issues two quests. 'Find Out Who Killed My Son' asks Carl to solve Geyrun's murder — his only clue that the obvious suspect, his twin Hellik, was in council when it happened — directing him to the high cleric at the Emberus Shrine in Club Vanquisher; no time limit, but a smite blocks Carl's exit from the eighteenth floor until it's done.

'Kill Hellik' demands he slay his invulnerable, level-250 twin before the twelfth floor, for a Celestial God Box (bonus if painful), warning of unintended consequences for all crawlers. His faith's core philosophy: power, once held, must never sit idle.
