Story so far
Orthrus's ordeal ends at the brink: blasted from behind by Quan Ch, he crashes unconscious at 2% health on a one-minute timer. Carl hurls Mordecai's Special Brew to heal him and make him briefly near-invulnerable, then summons Emberus with the Celestial Grenade. The god reunites with his son's puppy — 'Orthrus.
There you are.' — and both blink away to the Celestial Halls before Emberus's sixty seconds elapse. The completed quest 'The Dumber of the Flunkies' reports the pup is now 'frolicking on the twelfth floor where he will soon resume his training,' safe at last after nearly dying half a dozen times.
Appearance
A colossal two-headed wolf-puppy, briefly glowing with invulnerable healing, then vanishing in a shimmer to the Celestial Halls.
